Disputifier Security Incident — January 2026
On January 9th, 2026, Disputifier reported a security incident in which an unauthorized party accessed Shopify API tokens for a number of merchants. The exposed tokens were used to trigger unauthorized refunds on connected Shopify stores. Customer data including names, email addresses, and mailing addresses was exfiltrated. ChargePilot stores all credentials in Google Cloud Secret Manager and has never experienced a security incident.
